WHAT IS IT?

The Bridgestone Gecko is an icon in Australian advertising and is seen on TV and in print all over the country. I had the honour of being the sole supplier for illustration and animation of the Gecko for over 20 years, between 1999 and 2022.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Bridgestone Australia is a subsidary of Bridgestone Ltd, a Japanese tyre maker with a worldwide reach, and has extensive product line for road, track and offroad tyres of every kind.

WHAT DID I DO?

I was Lead 3d Artist, Animation Director and Executive Producer for every Gecko project (both animation and illustration) delivered in that time. I was heavily involved with design, client liaison, 3d modeling, rigging, lighting, texturing and rendering for all the images below.
